Indie ReCon LIVE! Vote For RaShelle's Pajamas

Have you taken part in the online conference Indie Recon? If not, you should. It's an amazing conference founded by S.R. Johannes and Ali Cross.

Coming October 10-11th, 2014 the first ever Indie ReCon LIVE! will be held in Sandy, Utah.

WHY IndieReCon LIVE?

Take control of your publishing career by discovering and enhancing the necessary skills to indie success.
You’ll learn from industry experts everything from building your own publishing team, navigating online vendors, packaging, marketing and everything in between.
Three education tracks means there’s something for the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced indie author.

WHAT MAKES US SPECIAL?

The only conference in North America dedicated to self-publishing, IndieReCon has two years of experience and credibility under its belt. In February of 2013 and 2014 we hosted the first online indie author conference with rousing success. The feedback and enthusiasm for what we had to offer proved to us there is a need for more excellent information on the ins and outs of self-publishing, so October 2014 will be our first LIVE conference.

Several of the classes that will be taught are by our very own Indelibles, including:

Psychology of Writing by Christine Fonseca
Beginning Formatting by Cheri Lasota
Making Your Book Signing Successful by Cindy Hogan
Interior Front and Back Matter by Elana Johnson
Advanced Formatting by Ali Cross
Full-Time Writing/Brainstorming by Chanda Hahn
Boxed Sets/Audio Books/Swags by Cindy Hogan & RaShelle Workman
Using Facebook for Marketing by Laura Howard
Basic Marketing by Leigh Talbert Moore

plus so many more.

And while the classes are going to be a wealth of knowledge the stuff after the classes is going to be a blast.

On Friday night Indie Recon LIVE! is hosting an *author/reader Pajama Rama party.

It'll be a place to meet, hang, eat, shake your booty to fantastic music (should you choose to) and get autographs from your favorite authors and meet some new ones. Since it's a pajama party I need help picking out a new pair of PJ's. Please vote:

#1 Cotton blue and red plaid
#2 Satin with black hats
#3 Navy t-shirt & plaid pink, navy, white pants

On Saturday, we'll get a little more serious about our fun with the Howey's. It's an awards ceremony similar to the Oscar's but the winners will be self-published authors/books who've shown extraordinary excellence. Anyone can nominate their favorite. Click HERE to see the contests.

And if you're a self-published author, please think about adding some swag to the Indie ReCon LIVE! swag bags. It's only $10 to be included and every attendee will receive a bag.

Christmas Traditions and Trends

Merry Christmas, reader-friends!

We're two days away, and I'm feeling pretty good. I've got the shopping done, the ladies are (for now) contented... almost all the gifts are wrapped.

One of my favorite holiday traditions involves books!

Ever since my two daughters were little, we've ended the day with a storybook. When they were really small it was the picture books like Goodnight Moon or What Will Fat Cat Sit On?

Or our favorite, Dogzilla.

Now that they're older, we're reading chapters from novels. We started with Harry Potter, then we moved to the Warrior Cats series, and now the girls are reading The Chronicals of Prydian with my husband...

In the early years, however, we accumulated more than 30 gorgeous Christmas picture books. So our family tradition takes us back to the old days of Olive the Other Reindeer, Eloise at Christmastime, Angelina Ballerina, and The Jolly Christmas Postman (among many others).

It's the one thing we do consistently every year, and it really gets us in the spirit.

What about you guys? Any Christmas traditions you care to share?

On Amazon and Barnes & Noble!
On the "Trends" front, one you might've noticed in books is The Boxed Set.

I've even put my own for "Truth" companions together in one ebook "Boxed Set" you can get at a discount.

See it here -->

The Indelibles are joining the fun with a first-ever Indelibles Boxed Set to knock your socks off...

Fifteen complete, best selling titles by Indelibles authors including Addison Moore, Susan Kaye Quinn, RaShelle Workman, Chanda Hahn, Magan Vernon, Laura Pauling, Elle Strauss, and LM Preston!

The box is called 15 Winter Reads, and it will be officially "On Sale" starting December 29!

So mark your calendars, and pick up this beauty December 29~

Coming December 29!

And have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful, joyful holiday season with your friends and family!

Best to you~

The Indelibles Are On Sale

Happy Friday. Hope everyone's week has been awesome. My kids are back in school, so I went ahead and wrote a book. Yeah, I'm nerdy like that. *snort*

What have you been up to? Written anything new? Working on editing?

I also had to post a collage of one of each of the Indelibles books. I love the women in this group. They're talented, smart, and funny.

I mean seriously, I heart them big time.

Most of these books are on sale or #free so be sure to check them out.

Kisses!!!
